How do you pause?

Maybe it’s…
  • The walk before the city wakes.
  • The tea that marks the end of the day.
  • The first quiet moments before anyone needs you.
  • Fresh flowers on the kitchen table.
  • Watching the leaves change in the West Village.
We’re collecting them.
Beauty isn’t just what people see.
It’s the rituals that help us pause, reset, and return to ourselves.

At BONJIL, we believe skin reflects more than time.  It reflects the lives we live.

Stress.

Rest.

The moments we protect.

The moments we neglect.

The way we care for ourselves each day.

We believe the rituals we return to have the power to calm the mind, restore our wellbeing, and, over time, influence how we feel and how we show up in the world.

That’s why we’re creating Archives of New York.

A living collection of the everyday rituals that help New Yorkers pause, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

NOTE NO. 00147
“My skincare ritual is how I leave the day behind.”
Every archive begins with a note.

Some are only a sentence.

Some capture a quiet ritual.

Some remind us to pause.

Some become part of who we are.

Together, they become the Archives of New York.
